Love Horoscope For Today, Thursday, February 21, 2019 For Each Zodiac Sign In Astrology

Love Horoscope For Today, Thursday, February 21, 2019 For Each Zodiac Sign In Astrology

In love, you can’t always rush things, even if you want to.

Your daily love astrology and horoscopes are here for today Thursday, February 21, 2019, for all zodiac signs in astrology. The Sun is in the zodiac sign of Pisces, and it’s a time for connecting to your inner self.

Today’s Sun forms a harmonious relationship with Mars in Aries and there’s drive to do what is right or feels right, no matter what.

When today’s Sun forms a hard relationship with Saturn in Capricorn, your desire to work hard to improve yourself, relationships and the things that are in your life comes with strong instinct, intution and spiritual guidance from within your spirit.

This can prompt powerful desire to change what you can’t control, and to do so quickly. Uranus in Aries can facilitate chaotic change as it works in harmony with the Sun at this time. Be aware of emotional triggers that make you feel a situation is urgent, when in fact it used to be before but isn’t necessarily now.

Pay attention to what you say and do for the sake of clarifying your ideas and to avoid actions that you’ll regret and wish you hadn’t done later on. Instead, focus on the positives and remember that in life there is no rehearsal. You can want to do something now but it can also be best to wait until the dust settles so you can finish what you start the right way.

To find out more, look for your zodiac sign below to find out what’s in store for you, according to astrology. Here is your horoscope for today, Thursday, February 21, 2019.

Android update bricks Nike’s $350 self-lacing sneakers

Android update bricks Nike's $350 self-lacing sneakers

As reported by CNET, Nike’s Adapt BB sneakers, which were released on Sunday, come with an app that lets users controls their tightness. This function is also possible using the two buttons on the side of the shoes, but controlling the fit via an app is one of the sneakers main features.

Days after their launch, Adapt BB needed a firmware update. And while this doesn’t seem to have affected the iOS app, the update has caused some big problems on Android. According to user reviews, the app keeps failing to connect one shoe to another, and that it has “bricked” the sneakers.

Some people have found that the issue can be resolved by performing a manual reset, which is a surprisingly arduous process. The shoes can still be used as regular sneakers, and the physical buttons continue to adjust the tightness, but paying $350 for some smart footwear that isn’t particularly smart has incurred the ire of many buyers.

We’ve seen updates brick devices in the past. Back in October, Apple pulled the WatchOS 5.1 update after it bricked a number of its smart watches, causing them to become stuck in endless boot loops.

Nike has responded to a comment on the Play Store with “We are aware of the issue and are actively working on a solution.”

In an era when almost anything can be turned into a smart device, it seems new technologies can bring new problems.

Amal Clooney & Serena Williams threw Meghan Markle a $270,000 baby shower

The shower featured both a flower-arranging lesson and a dessert tasting experience and the bonbonnieres were luxury suitcases

Amal Clooney & Serena Williams threw Meghan Markle a $270,000 baby shower

If you have ever wondered what a royal baby shower looks like then we have some insights for you. Better yet, if you’re wondering what a royal baby shower costs then we have that covered too. The answer? Apparently it costs USD$200,000 (or $277,000) to throw a duchess-approved baby shower.

In case you missed it, Meghan Markle is currently in New York to celebrate the impending birth of her baby with her closest friends. The Duchess of Sussex is said to have arrived at The Mark Hotel in New York last Friday in top secret fashion, with the soon-to-be mother hosting a number of small get togethers with friends in the past few days before the official baby shower which took place on Wednesday.

The shower, which was also at The Mark, is said to have been organised by Serena Williams with the help of Amal Clooney and Vanity Fair is reporting the party cost approximately $277,000. The Upper East Side affair took place in the luxury hotel’s Penthouse Suite, which in itself costs $100,000 per night and is the largest penthouse in the United States. When you add in the cost of Markle’s transport to the US—a private jet costing $140,000—the shower has already clocked up $240,000.

Then there’s the royal-worthy baby shower games. According to Vanity Fair’s royal expert Katie Nicholl, guests at Markle’s baby shower enjoyed “a flower arranging lesson accompanied by a dessert table prepared by the restaurant’s head chef, Jean-Georges Vongerichten, who will be there to greet them.” Considering Vongerichten has two Michelin stars for his restaurant, that is some really good dessert that the celebrity-filled guest list were snacking on. If they weren’t content with that they also had access to some fairy floss it seems, after a cotton candy machine was seen arriving at The Mark Hotel too. In addition, E! News is calculating the flower arrangements—which are made from out-of-season peonies—at $7300.

Aside from organisers Serena Williams and Amal Clooney, other guests at the baby shower included Priyanka Chopra, designer Misha Nonoo, Markle’s best friend and former stylist Jessica Mulroney, her college friend Lindsay Roth, one of her oldest friends Benita Litt, TV personality (and Oprah’s BFF) Gayle King and her former Suits co-star Abigail Spencer. Also seen arriving at The Mark was Markle’s hair stylist Serge Normant, her make-up artist Daniel Martin, Pilates instructor Taryn Toomey and the man who is said to have helped organise her first date with Prince Harry, Markus Anderson.

As for what is the appropriate party favour for a royal-approved guest list full of celebrities? Luxury suitcases of course. More than a dozen suitcases by the luggage label Away were being seen wheeled into The Mark, which cost approximately $350 each.

In a baby shower fit for a duchess we hope that the royal’s choice of venue is a nod to what we hope is a potential secret moniker. Given her surname, do you think Meghan’s nickname is The Mark?

Supreme Court exempts Saridon from list of banned drugs, says Piramal Enterprises

Supreme Court exempts Saridon from list of banned drugs, says Piramal Enterprises

New Delhi: Piramal Enterprises Ltd (PEL) Thursday said its pain relief tablet brand Saridon has been exempted from the list of banned fixed-dose combinations (FDCs) by the Supreme Court. In a regulatory filing, the company said the apex court has ruled in favour of Saridon, which is a heritage brand from its healthcare product portfolio.

“In September 2018, PEL had been awarded a stay order from the Supreme Court on the ban, which allowed it to continue manufacturing, distribution and sale of the FDC,” it said.

Commenting on the court order, PEL Executive Director Nandini Piramal said, “We are pleased with the Supreme Court ruling, as it is an affirmation to our commitment to provide effective and safe healthcare solutions that address unique needs of Indian consumers. We were confident that the law would prevail in our favour.”

Last year in September, the government had banned 328 FDCs, which were termed ‘irrational’ on the basis of safety issues and lack of therapeutic justification. Stating that Saridon is a “heritage brand trusted by customers for the last 50 years in India”, Piramal said, “This exemption from the banned list of FDCs validates our intent to serve our customers with the highest levels of integrity.”

Piramal further said, “We continue to expand our healthcare product portfolio with an aim to be amongst the top three over-the-counter (OTC) product companies in India by 2020”.

Citing a study by AC Neilson, PEL said the addressable analgesic market is Rs 6,450 crore, of which analgesic tablet market is Rs 2,050 crore as of December 2018. The popularity of the brand is widespread with 31 tablets being sold every second. PEL said Saridon is available across a distribution network of 9 lakh outlets in India.

Bhopal: Literati term Namvar Singh’s demise as irreparable loss

Bhopal: The imagination of the author and critic Namvar Singh was always replete with the greenery of Bhopal, the Upper Lake and the Bharat Bhawan, said litterateurs in the city on Wednesday.Singh who passed away on Tuesday night left a permanent imprint on the minds of the lovers of Hindi literature, and many of his friends tenderly talked about their association with the author.

He was a spontaneous writer who could spawn an effective timbre through his words that are strong as well as engaging.
He visited Bharat Bhawan several times for lectures and seminars, and for a brief period, taught at Sagar University. A letter, he had written to author Ramesh Chandra Shah in 1984, was published in a book Ek Pate Per that was published by Pahle Pahal Publciation, Bhopal.

Poet, Rajesh Joshi told Free Press¸ “He had very long association with the city. Earlier, there was writer’s residence called Aashram, at Bharat Bhawan and he used to come there. He also worked here on author Hazari Prasad Dwivedi. He was disciple of Dwivedi. He also delivered three lectures, based on three chapters of his book Dusari Parampara Ki Khoj. He said, “He was the convener of Hindi Committee that selected me for Sahitya Akademi Award. He was one of main critics of the Nai Kavita and Nai Kahani movement which began after independence.

“He had great understanding of Indian and western literature. He was such a critic who also studied the latest trends in literature and kept himself update. He often used to intervene in various issues whether political or literary. So, we have lost great scholar which is irreparable,” Joshi added.

Author Padmashree Ramesh Chandra Shah said, “I had an association of 40 years with him. He was 10 years elder to me.
We were not on the same page ideologically. But the best part in is that despite ideological differences, he knew how to respect people. He had very good understanding literature including poems. He also wrote many essays.”

Vijay Bahadur Singh, a Hindi critic said, “His younger brother Kashinath Singh is my friend. So, I know him personally. He was like my elder brother. He visited my home whenever he came Bhopal. He belongs to ordinary family. I have been following his work since my college life. He used to argue with logic. He was quite witty and had amazing communication skills. His death is a huge loss for Hindi literature world. His death is a huge loss for me.” Poet and publisher of Pahle Pahal, Mahendra Gagan said, “We met him in MP Hindi Sahitya Sammelan. He appreciated my poems. We also published his letter in a book Ek Pate Per which he wrote to writer Ramesh Chandra Shah in 1984.”

His last visit was in 2003 to attend an event, organised by Bhawgwat Rawat, former director of Sahitya Akademi. He was great scholar and an institution of Hindi literature. It is a big loss of intellectual class Indian culture. We will organise a condolence meets here on Thursday”, said Prem Shankar Shukla, administrative officer, Bharat Bhawan

5 Greatest Stars In WWE History To Never Win The Championship

5 Greatest Stars In WWE History To Never Win The Championship

Despite everything going on with the RAW Women’s and WWE Universal Championship, the hottest story in the WWE right now may be #KofiMania, and after stealing the show 2 weeks in a row on Smackdown and Elimination Chamber, it’s clear that he should win the WWE Championship in the near future.

The WWE have booked that match for Fastlane, but they’d be silly to not put the Championship on him at WrestleMania. This has also gotten us thinking about other stars to not win the big one.

Over the years, the WWE have had all of the best performers in the world, and because of that, not all of them have been able to win the WWE Championship, but some definitely stand out above the rest.

From charismatic legends to athletic, technical performers, these are the 5 greatest performers in WWE history to never win the WWE or World Heavyweight Championship.

#5 Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts

When talking about promos, most people look to the likes of Hulk Hogan, The Rock and Dusty Rhodes (with very good reason), but one man that is often forgotten about is Jake Roberts. He wasn’t over the top with his facials or didn’t have marketable catch-phrases, but Jake had a cadence like no other, and he managed to always get his message across in a concise, calm manner, and it was incredibly unique.

His matches weren’t always the best, but he told great stories, and with his python Damien by his side, the WWE Universe couldn’t look away when he was in the ring.

His life took a major spiral towards the end of his wrestling career, and that may be why he was never on top, but he’s thankfully got that sorted now, and his legacy will be one of a great performer in all phases of wrestling, something you don’t see as often in the modern day.

#4 Ricky ‘The Dragon’ Steamboat

Out of everyone on this list, Ricky Steamboat stands head and shoulders above the rest as an in-ring performer, and given his colourful nature and breathtaking entrances, it’s surprising that he was never WWE Champion.

In his career, he had countless classics with the likes of Ric Flair, Randy Savage and others, but it was the WrestleMania 3 bout with the Macho Man that solidified him as a wrestling legend.

Like everyone on this list, the lack of World Championships hasn’t affected him at all, because he has still served as a major inspiration to generations following him, and that’s more important than any belt you can hold.

We would have loved for The Dragon to be on top at one time or another, but given the catalog of matches he put together, he still has the respect of every wrestling fan who’s ever seen one of his matches.

#3 ‘Rowdy’ Roddy Piper

Rowdy Roddy Piper is one of the most entertaining heels that the WWE have ever seen, and he was a great mid-card Champion for the WWE, so it will come as a shock to some that he never managed to win the Big One.

His ‘Pipers Pit’ talkshow is one of the best in WWE history, and is responsible for some of the greatest and most memorable moments of the entire era, but for some reason, the WWE never put him on top.

Piper could turn it on in an instant, going from comedy to rage in a heartbeat, and it was this promo and character work that made him one of the best performers the WWE has ever seen.

Hot Rod passed away in 2015, and he leaves behind him a tremendous legacy, and like many others, not winning the big one doesn’t affect that.

#2 Razor Ramon

Razor Ramon is one of the most influential performers in wrestling history, especially alongside Kevin Nash and Hulk Hogan as the NWO, but he never made it to the top of the mountain in WWE.

He debuted with the company as ultra smooth heel Razor Ramon, and was involved in several big matches, with the most memorable being in WWE’s first ever Ladder Match against Shawn Michaels.

After that, he defected to WCW, turning the wrestling world on its head, but even after returning to the WWE several years later, he never became the main event star he should have been.

The Bad Guy was never the wrestler that some others on this list were, but he was fantastic on promos and the type of ‘over the top’ character that gets over in the WWE, and it’s a great injustice that he never became the WWE Champion over the course of his career.

#1 Dusty Rhodes

Dusty Rhodes was never a WWE guy, and only had a few years in the promotion, but he was one of the most talented performers in wrestling history, and should have got a run at the top.

His work prior to the WWE should be shown in wrestling promo classes until the end of time, because his charisma and incredible promo work gave him an aura that no one in modern pro wrestling can match.

The American Dream came from humble beginnings, and his funky delivery with promos made him a huge fan favourite in every promotion in the world, and it’s a shame that he never made it to the top of the WWE.

In fact, despite his work outside of the company, the WWE for some reason put him in polkadots and didn’t get behind him, but fortunately, he leaves behind him a legacy that isn’t affected by never making it to the top of the mountain.
