This is not the sole incident where the Kashmiris have been attacked in other parts of the country in the aftermath of the Pulwama terror attack, in which a local youth rammed an explosive-laden car into a CRPF convoy, leading to the death of 40 soldiers. The atmosphere in the country is not the same as it used to be before the Pulwama Attack and the resultant air strikes by India on Pakistan. Former J&K chief ministers Mehbooba Mufti and Omer Abdulah have been highlighting the plight of local Kashmiris.
