Airforce that saved 50 IIT students
Shimla: Indian Air Force forces have protected some of the people trapped in different parts of Himachal Pradesh due to adverse weather conditions. Among them are 50 IIT-Roorkee students and a German couple. Many roads along the Rohtang Pass have been closed due to floods and heavy snow. More than 500 people have been trapped in various places and district administration has provided food and accommodation facilities to them.
Sixmissing: pilgrims have gonesix persons who went out of the Dilie and Shimla on Friday went missing. They have to reach Sangla in Kinnaur district. The team who are going to go for them will resume their efforts on Wednesday. With four more deaths on Tuesday, the number of deaths rose to 10 in different incidents due to heavy rains. The heaviest rains bleeding for 2-3 days are on Tuesday. The Met department predicts that the weather will dry throughout the state from Wednesday. Chief Minister Jairam Thakur has asked the Center to release Rs 200 crore under the immediate assistance of the state.
