GG.Bet Review for 2019

Welcome to our 2019 GG.Bet review.

If you asked me a few years ago if I thought there would be sportsbooks that offered only e-sports betting, I don’t think I’d tell you no …but I would definitely be skeptical of it ever happening.

But looking at the industry today – which is expected to exceed $1 billion in annual revenue in 2019 – you’d think it’d be a no-brainer.

It’s no longer a question of ‘if’ it’s a good idea, or ‘if’ we think it’ll ever happen. Because those types of sportsbooks already exist.

Case in point – GG.Bet.

GG.Bet is an e-sports specific sportsbook. And the following review will tell you everything you need to know about them before you join, including their background, banking methods, promotions and betting options.

If you think you’re interested in joining GG.Bet – if you think you want to check them out over a traditional online sportsbook – I highly recommend you read this review before you do.

Who owns and operates GG.Bet? How long have they been in business?

Their website says they’re owned and operated by Brivio Limited, and that they’re registered in the Republic of Cyprus.

However, their license says their company name is Invicta Networks N.V. You can see their license info on their website.

GG.Bet has been online since August 2016 (about 1 year).

How’s their reputation? What do others think of them?

They’re brand-new, so there aren’t any opinions. All I managed to find are a lot of arguably biased and overly positive reviews.

I suppose one thing worth mentioning is a Reddit post I came across. GG.Bet apologized for the confusion around how their bonuses work, and the lackluster support.

What stood out to me the most in this thread are the complaints revolving around their 25x playthrough on a bonus they used to have. Many people complained that the rollover is too large, especially consider that other sportsbooks usually have rollovers in the 1-10x range.

I agree that it’s too large. But, at the same time, it’s something you know about and agree to when you activate a promo.

Outside of those things, there were lots of scam accusations. I didn’t see any proof, so I don’t think it’s worth mentioning. Understandably, GG.Bet didn’t get too involved in those discussions.

And that’s about it. I didn’t see anything else in Reddit or Google that would suggest they’re anything but reputable – as much as a new sportsbook can be, anyway.

  • Syria

Customer Support

How do you contact GG.Bet? When are they available?

You can use the following options to reach out to GG.Bet:

 PHONE: +442037691962EMAIL: support@gg.betLIVE CHAT

I sent them an email. They responded within 24 hours and answered my question.

What payment methods does GG.Bet accept?

They have LOTS of banking options – for example:

  • Visa
  • MasterCard
  • Visa/MC/Yandex Money
  • Skrill
  • Skinpay
  • Boleto
  • EcoPayz
  • Webpay
  • Surtimax
  • SCB
  • AstroPay
  • Banamex
  • SPE
  • Neteller
  • Union Pay
  • Boloto
  • DK
  • Qiwi
  • SEPA
  • WeChatPay
  • Yandex Money
  • iDEAL
  • WebMoney
  • EPS
  • Postepay
  • Citi
  • Banco Do Brasil
  • Nordea
  • Bank Transfer
  • Giro Pay
  • Trustly
  • Przelewy24
  • Sofort
  • Poli
  • ePay.bg
  • Macro
  • Santander

This covers about half to two-thirds the options available. There are many others that look like they’re country or area specific.

One option that stood out to me is the skinpay. You can fund your sportsbook account with gaming skins. All you got to do is connect your Steam ID.They apparently accept bitcoin, too – according to other reviews. But I didn’t see it.

Their deposit limits vary quite a bit. The min is around $5 USD. They don’t give you hard numbers upfront – you choose from 5 preset amounts or an amount that you enter. This is how I found some of their limits.

When I tried the Visa/MC/Yandex option, the max they’d let you deposit is $4,000. However, if you use the Visa/MasterCard option, you can deposit as much as $8,800.

A few of the other options I checked were around $4,000, while some had some real small amounts. Like the WeChatPay, which had a max deposit of $500.

I’d expect $4,000-$8,800 to be range (on the high side).

What are your cash out options? Are there any limits or fees?

Here are your cash out options:

  • Visa
  • MasterCard
  • Skrill
  • EcoPayz
  • PaySec
  • Qiwi
  • WebMoney
  • Yandex Money
  • AstroPay
  • Neteller

I didn’t have money in my account – because I had to use a VPN to sign up as they don’t accept players from the United States – so I was unable to check cash out limits.

They do list them in their terms and conditions, though. It’s a little odd how they do things. But here’s how fast you’ll be paid depending on the amount you cash out:

  • $300 – next day
  • $301-$2,000 – within 5 business days
  • $2,001-$20,000 – within 14 business days
  • $20,000 – within 30 days

It sounds as if the max you can cash out is $20,000 per month, which is reasonable relative to deposit limits from other casinos and sportsbooks.

Do they offer a welcome bonus, or any other kind of bonuses or free bets?

I didn’t see one.

That struck me as odd, though, since other reviews – and even GG.Bet during the sign-up process – said that they have promotions from time to time.

That led me to think that maybe their offer was on the backend – that you needed to create an account before you could see one. So, I created an account.

However, I didn’t receive an offer by email when I confirmed my account, nor did I see any offers on the backend.

I did see the Activate Promo Code tab, which leads me to think that they do offer deals from time to time. But it doesn’t look like they have one going right now.

As a last-ditch effort, I sent them an email. They confirmed my suspicions – they have no offers running right now.

When they do you’ll see it in their News tab. They’ll also send an email to their subscribers.

What additional promotions can you claim?

They have an Invite-a-Friend promotion. You’ll get $5.00 for every person you send.

To get paid, your friend needs to make a deposit of $10 or more, then place a bet on a game.

As soon as your friend meets the requirements the $5 will hit your account. But they only have 30 days to do it starting from the time they sign up.

What games, leagues, tournaments, etc. can you bet on?

They cover a lot of games – at least compared to your traditional online sportsbook. You’ll be able to bet on:

  • Smite
  • Heroes of the Storm
  • CS:GO
  • DOTA 2
  • League of Legends
  • StarCraft II
  • Overwatch
  • Hearthstone
  • Call of Duty
  • Heroes of Newerth
  • Halo
  • World of Tanks
  • Vainglory

When I checked them out these were the matches/tournaments they were covering:

  • DOTA 2 Sea Pro DOTA Cup
  • Counter-Strike Binary Dragons
  • League of Legends LCS Europe
  • League of Legends LCS North American
  • League of Legends LMS
  • Overwatch Pacific Championship 2017
  • Overwatch Contenders EU
  • Heroes of the Storm HGC North American
  • StarCraft Dreamhack Montreal 2017
  • StarCraft Masters Coliseum
  • Warcraft 3 Neo Star League

The markets or types of bets you can make include …only Match Winner. They didn’t have any other betting options like I’ve seen at other sportsbooks, such as map winners, first blood, first kill, etc.

However, after doing some research I came across a few reviews that say they do offer markets like the ones I mentioned not seeing.

For example:

  • Match Winner
  • Handicap
  • Total Rounds
  • Winner of Pistol Round(s)
  • Specific Rounds (1,4,16, etc)
  • Odd or Even # of Rounds
  • Match Winner
  • Map Winner
  • First Blood
  • First to 10 kills
  • Odd / Even kills
  • Total kills

It’s possible I just didn’t see these options because they weren’t available for the particular matchups being covered the day I reviewed them.NOTE:

I checked 2-3 days later and still didn’t see any other markets.

GG.Bet offers live betting, too. Several of these matches were also streamed live via Twitch.

You’ll find everything mentioned above on their homepage, which is also the Bets tab.

On the Outrights tab you’ll be able to make outright winner bets. When I was there they offered odds on Counter-Strike to Win Dreamhack Malmo.

Another betting opportunity is PUBG. You’ll find this under the Battles tab, and this form of betting is only available from 8am to 9pm CEST.

What devices can you use to make a bet? Are they mobile compatible?

There’s no download. You place bets from your browser.

It looks like they have a mobile website. However, when I checked it out from my iPhone I noticed that it was far too large for my screen. It looks like it needed a few tweaks to be truly compatible with my phone.

I wasn’t able to check it out from a tablet. But I get the feeling that betting at GG.Bet would be much more user-friendly on a tablet screen than a phone.

Do they have anything else you can bet on or play?

They offer a few casino and instant games.

It looks like their casino games come from BetSoft. They have fun games that look great, but they wouldn’t have been my first choice for software considering some of the problems they’ve had.

Anyway, here are the games you can play:

  • Fruit Zen
  • Sugar Pop!
  • Under the Bed
  • Safari Sam
  • Ace Round
  • After Night Falls
  • Sin City Nights
  • Gypsy Rose
  • Boomanji

Table Games

  • European Roulette
  • European Blackjack
  • American Blackjack

Video Poker

  • Multi-Hand Video Poker
  • Bonus Poker
  • Joker Poker

It doesn’t look like these games are available at all on your mobile device. I tried to go there directly in my browser on my phone and the page wouldn’t load. It wasn’t an option in their navigation, either. That’s too bad.

What do we think of GG.Bet? Do we recommend them to our readers?

Eh, I’m not sure.

I don’t have a ton of experience with esports sportsbooks. But the few I’ve seen were much better than this. Not to mention that I’ve seen traditional sportsbooks, like Bet365, with much better offers and esports betting options than GG.Bet.

They’re not mobile responsive, either. Well, they ARE, but it needs work.

With all that in mind, this is my recommendation –

I wouldn’t write them off just yet. Write their name down and come back in 6 months to see if they’ve made any improvements. Then, if they have, create an account.Until then I recommend checking out a different esports bookie or sportsbook altogether.
