Key Features of The New Iphones: Iphone 8, Iphone 8 Plus and Iphone X
After the announcement of Apple iphone X new Unlock feature, People are worried about the face id feature. They are not sure if it will work with the Sunglasses or makeup look.
But the company has reassured everyone that the face color isn’t scanned while the facial features and actual 3d modelling is very accurate. With this feature you can do animojis i.e. animate your own emoji’s using your face.
How cool is that?
However, the Face id will only work with one face. So you are not going to able to add someone else’s identity to your phone.
This year’s iPhone line up will support FLAC audio codec. Siri on iphone x hides the home indicator as soon as she becomes activated
Appearance wise all the three Iphones are strikingly similar. Iphone x is very close in size with iphone 8 whereas the 8 plus doesn’t even fit in the palm of the hand very easily. The type of glass used in the front and back is the same in all the three.
They all use IP67 water resistance. Both are splash resistant but don’t jump into the sea an expect them to survive
The durability of these phones is quite good
Before you go all in with the latest iPhone there are a few things to consider!
Apple care has increased in this year’s iPhone.
Also, fast charging won’t work without the charger. That’s right you will have to buy a separate power adapter. You will also need to buy an additional cable in order to use that adapter because the one that comes with the phone is USB A2 lightning and you need a USB c lightning
All the iPhone this year are thicker than last years. IPhone 8 plus is 0.2 mm thicker than 7 plus and IPhone 8 is 0.2mm thicker than 7. This could be either to accommodate a bigger battery or due to the glass casing. IPhone X is the thickest of the bunch.
One handed operations has become more difficult thanks to its huge size. Battery percent can only be seen on the control panel because of the limited space in the status bar
In iPhone x the video, pictures, games will be cropped ruining almost every visual experience.
The 8 and 8 plus have 2nd generation touch id same as the 7 and 7 plus and this is extremely fast and quite convenient when compared to the face id. You wouldn’t have to look at your phone every single time you want to unlock it unlike with the iPhone X
Even though the latest iPhone 8, iPhone 8 plus and iPhone X has its pros and cons, we cannot deny the premium experience that these phones can provide you.
After all, an iPhone is an iPhone!
